Saturday Trailer Wrap

Movie-Trailers

While you’re reading this I’m either headed to, or at WonderCon.  If you’re on Twitter, keep an eye on @ReelGoddess for pictures from the event.  And now on to the Trailer Wrap.

The Three Musketeers:

So we’re getting yet another adaption of The Three Musketeers.  With the exception of Chris O’Donnell, I rather enjoyed the 1993 version.  This one looks like it could be fun, but I’m really over the whole 3D thing.  Looking at the bright side however, at least they actually shot it in 3D and didn’t do a post production treatment.  Christoph Waltz is in it so that’s a huge bonus.  But I have to say…what is with Orlando Bloom’s EVEIIIL mustache?  Yay or nay?

Bridesmaids:

I can’t wait to see this.  It looks hilarious and it’s got Kristen Wiig who also co-wrote it so that’s a huge bonus.  It’s like a Hangover, but with women.  I hate how typical female comedies can be so stereotypical and it’s normally set in the land of happy ending rom-com’s.  Ask any adult gal what chicks are normally like.  If she’s honest, she’ll tell you that we can be just as wretched as our male counterparts.  I think this film will show that side of the X chromosome.

Friends with Benefits:

Ok I’ll be honest.  When I read the synopsis of this film, it sounded a bit like No Strings Attached.  And it sort of is in that same vein.  After watching the trailer it looks kind of funny and cute and could end up being one of those great rentals.  I’m not sure about seeing this in the theater though.  I do like Mila Kunis and am not opposed to Justin Timberlake.  Perhaps it’ll be a game day decision.

Not too much in the way of trailers this week, but be sure to check back next week for a post or two regarding WonderCon.  Have a great weekend everyone!
