The Goddess Goodie Wrap – 4/29/11

Goddess Goodie Wrap Header

Hello all.  Happy Friday.  It’s been a busy week what with the new Harry Potter trailer and all.  Hopefully you all got to see my pictures from my trip to ILM.  If not you can check them out here.  This week’s Goodie Wrap is short but sweet.  I’m headed to see the anniversary showing of Top Gun tomorrow.  Hopefully anyway.  I’ll also be checking out Fast Five which I’m strangely giddy about.  Check back next week for news on both.

Products:

Because I love Aliens I feel the need to own these.  Both of them since, they kind of are a set you know.  My friends and family would say I’m sick for wanting them, and it’s a good thing I don’t have kids because these babies would be in the crib with my babies.

Just Silly:

Cool Beds:

Sleep should be an art form.  Well here it is.  Sort of.  People go to pretty extensive lengths to treat their kids or themselves to a living space that suits them.  This was evident in last week’s Goodie Wrap with the Pirate themed bedroom.  Check out this Millennium Falcon bed.  Pretty sweet eh?  Click on the link to see other crazy beds.  Some of these I could sleep on, others not so much.  The castle one is a little to claustrophobic for my liking.

Lightsaber Cake Knife:

Oh yeah, I said Lightsaber Cake Knife!  Now this is the way to cut a wedding cake.  Especially if said cake is Star Wars themed.  I love this.  I need it.  I want it.  I’d actually use it.  Perhaps I can follow the DIY instructions from this website!  If I do, you guys will be the first to know. Random Thoughts and Bits of News:

-So last summer brought us the awesome Piranha 3D.  No I’m not being sarcastic, it was actually a pretty fun movie for having nothing but blood, boobs and body parts.  It did so well in fact, that it, pardon the term, spawned a sequel aptly titled Piranha 3DD.  Casting announcements were just made this past week and news just came down that Gary Busey has joined the cast.  Now the film really has some teeth.

-Are you a sci-fi fan that is currently planning a wedding?  Need that perfect wedding cake topper? Here are some options for you.

-I didn’t get a chance to see Beastly in the theaters.  Oh darn. This review almost makes me want to see it.  Almost. But I have no doubt that the review is much more entertaining than the actual film.

-If you love Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and wished you had a car like that, now’s your chance.

-Looks like budget cuts are jacking with outer space too.  What’s going to happen if the aliens try to contact us before the imminent invasion? So much for calling first.

-Does anyone else think this is a bad idea?

That’s it for this week.  I wish you all a fantastic weekend!

  2. Hello! Just a quick note to say that I’m super-glad you’re enjoying the reviews I flop out, and I hope I continue to make you want to see dreadful dreadful things that no-one should ever see.

    Appreciate the love!

Hi Tash….I do love them. And as much as I hate to say it, I did just recently see Beastly AND Drive Angry. As a matter of fact, my DVD review of Drive Angry just posted today. Both films were indeed dreadful :) The things we watch and write about…..
Thanks for commenting and providing me with a hearty chuckle!
