Triple the Action, Triple the Thor
It’s all Thor all weekend long! There is a whole lot of Thor going on between the major motion picture that starts Friday, and the Thor film double feature that SyFy is airing on Saturday. You want Thor? You got Thor!
I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that Marvel’s film that opens in theaters Friday is probably the best bet when it comes to quality. But don’t count out the cheese just yet. SyFy is known for their Saturday night original movies so maybe you should give this double feature a chance.
It kicks off with Almighty Thor. This is a new original movie and really, I’ll let the trailer speak for itself.
Dude….RICHARD GREICO! Booker from 21 Jump Street….then that spin-off show titled Booker. How can you say no to that? Did you see that rad explosion toward the end? I’m out of town this weekend but I just might have to DVR this one. Just so you know, it airs Saturday May 7th at 9pm EST.
Right after Almighty Thor, is Thor: Hammer of the Gods. This one is actually from 2009, but since Thor in the mood, you might as well just stay up and watch it.
Thor: Hammer of the Gods has werewolves. Thor vs. Werewolves. I’m calling Team Thor right now. Now that your weekend viewing schedule is all set, which Thor are you most looking forward to?

Whoo, Thor. I really can’t wait to see the movie in theaters. And I didn’t know about Almighty Thor but it looks interesting. As for Thor: Hammer of Gods, I knew about and I liked it so looks like I’ll be staying in for Saturday. I really want to watch the Marvel version though.
I’m hoping to hit the Marvel version Friday after work. I’m out of town on Saturday night but have a mind to record that double feature. I didn’t even know about the Hammer of the Gods one until yesterday. I didn’t have any plans for when I get home on Sunday, but I think I might now
I saw Thor yesterday night (Friday) and it was great. But I think I will wait until you post something on Thor to discuss it.
I saw it Friday night as well. Review will be posted probably mid week. I really liked it. I am totally bummed I forgot to set my DVR for those two Thor movies on SyFy before I left town.
Oh no, that sucks but you didn’t miss much. Almighty Thor was not as interesting as I thought it would be. It didn’t really feel like a movie about Thor or gods. It kinda bored me. I should probably re-watched this because I did tuned out a little bit.
Thor: Hammer of the Gods was much more interesting because it had more characters involve and werewolves. A lot of people died too. Plus, I found it on youtube.
