Saturday Trailer Wrap – 5/14/11
Yay! Happy Saturday. I’m super excited because it’s a long weekend for me. Four glorious days to do a whole lot of whatever. So while I’m twirling my thumbs like an evil mad scientist, I’ve thrown together some new trailers for you to check out. It’s a short one today, but here they are!
Real Steel
They released one trailer for this several months ago but now we’re getting the full theatrical trailer. This one gives a little more of what the actual story is than the first one which is nice considering the first one just made it look like fighting robots. I mean, this one looks like fighting robots + a human element. Real Steel knocks its way into theaters on 10/7/11.
Final Destination 5
Ho hum. Even though the last installment was The Final Destination, I guess they changed their minds. Here’s the latest entry into this tired, I mean tried and true franchise. This one focuses on a group of teenagers who…..are you ready…..I bet you can’t guess…….cheat death and now Death is pissed and picks them all off one by one in extremely creative (or not) ways. Shocking right? I apologize for the sarcasm (not really) but I’m tired of seeing the same stuff over and over again. Anyway, here’s the trailer. Final Destination 5 will be sucking your life-force starting 8/12/11
Kung Fu Panda 2
Po and the gang are back for the sequel and luckily, so are the original actors. I really liked the first one so I’m actually a little bit excited for this one. This one looks to have all the humor that the first one had but I really hope it’s not limited to what we see in the trailer. And I hope they can capture lightning in a bottle twice. Kung Fu Panda 2 will knock your block off starting 5/26/11.
