Trailer Alert! Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1
Ok Twihards, I know you’ve been on edge for this. So the first full length trailer for the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I was released yesterday. Of course I had to post it. This is the one that all of the Twilight fans have been waiting for right?
I will do my best to keep the sarcasm to a minimum here. I’m sure you all know what this one is about, but if you need a refresher, here it is.
Breaking Dawn is based on the fourth book in the Twilight series. In it, Bella and Edward finally get hitched and take off for their honeymoon only to have it cut short by Bella’s impossibly fast pregnancy. Jacob is still in Forks pining over Bella while spending the bulk of his time pissed off because she plans to become a vampire.
That’s the gist of it. The two plus minutes of this trailer actually shows quite a bit of the story as well as just how bad the Cullen’s hair is again. It seems like with each film, the hairstyles just get worse and worse. especially with Carlisle. What is up with that?!
I honestly think they waited way too long to release this film. Eclipse was released in June of 2010. 15 months is a long time for a franchise to go cold. I’m sure there will be a HUGE turnout for this, but I’m wondering if it will be as big as it could have been if they had released this sooner. I supposed we’ll find out on November 18th.
Anyway, I’ve also included the horribly Photoshopped poster for your viewing as well. Look at Edward….now look at Edward’s hand. It looks like a disembodied hand reaching up to grab Bella. It’s creepy and awful and I don’t like it all. So check out the trailer and let me know what you think.
