Two more months to go until the second season of Game of Thrones premiers.  I’m desperately trying to tear through the second book before that happens and have tried my hardest to stay away from all things spoiler-y.  That being said, I couldn’t resist the call of this trailer so I watched it.  Twice.

It doesn’t show too much which is a good thing, but a few scenes really make me want to dive head first into the book so I can find out how they relate to the overall story.  From the looks of this trailer, things are about to get real.  Catelyn holds a dagger on Littlefinger, Dany tries to exercise her power, people want Cersei’s head, and Joffrey is still up to his typical douchebaggery ways.

I can only imagine how challenging this season is for the writers simply because there are loads of new characters.  Top that with loads of new locations and I’m sure it’s a logistical nightmare.  However I have faith that this season will top the first one in every way.  Well, except there is no more Sean Bean.
