Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome Episodes 9 and 10
Ok kids, here it is. The finale of Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome has officially ended. To be honest, these last two episodes contained a couple of surprises and went in a direction that I really didn’t expect. I’m very curious to see how the final response to this web series pans out and whether or not SyFy will continue it on in one form or another. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Even with all of the lens flares, the dropping of tools to hide language and the rough-looking visuals, I rather enjoyed the ride that Blood and Chrome took us on. I still believe that this could have turned into a solid entry in the BSG canon and seeing a younger, more volatile Adama puts a completely different spin on his character. This is not the calm-yet-intimidating father figure we all know and love. This is the young, brash, green Adama and I’d really like to see his story continue.
Check out the finale below and remember that the full two-hour movie will premiere on SyFy in early 2013, and the DVD/Bluray will be released on February 19, 2013.

Was it me,but in those last seconds w/ that annoying woman, were freaky & j swear that we were about to look @ 6. But they were not made yet…
Her voice tho which I thought was great….and it was the same line of dialogue that kicked off BSG. Loved that! Wish they’d continue on but I doubt they will. Hey did you finish Hunted? I did. It wasn’t bad but I miss Strike Back!!
It reminded me of how much I loved BSG, but at the very end with the awesome music and Adama in his shiny new viper. I rewatched Razor recently and I miss that show.
I finished “Hunted” , but the ending had me baffled. I would like to see and hope they keep the team together, they have some great dynamics. Stannis won’t be there as I think they are giving him a larger role for Storm of Swords than in the books.
Plus, who can resist Aidan? I read the interview w/the writers (i think) and they said they planned that he would save her, but now she has kept a big secret from him. They just need to perk it up a bit. Did you know they are doing a version of Primeval on SyFy? I loved that show, especially the first 2 seasons. What did u think of Hunted?
Yeah watching Blood & Chrome makes me want to watch BSG all over again. As for Hunted….it was ok. I stuck with it and am glad I did, but it didn’t have the draw for me like I’d hoped it would. The middle few episodes weren’t much to write home about, but it all came together in the end. And now that I know the ending, it makes me think back to some things that happened and it’s all clear now.
Next on the docket is Banshee…..that looks more along the Strike Back action lines. We’ll see though. Are you going to watch it?
Yes! There is also a new show on showtime , it has Liev Schreiber as the lead, and as gotten hotter w/age, its called, I think Roy Donovan, he is like the cleaner to the stars. Homeland is done, fringe sis almost finished, and the Borgias will be back! But Game of Thrones is always my first priority.
Weird question: the funny way all th people looked on B&C is that the animation thing? Or will it look the same TV?
So sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you on this. I haven’t heard of the Liev Schreiber show, but I really dig him so may have to check it out! I’m going to cry when Fringe is over. I so love that show. But there is a lot getting ready to come back so I’ll definitely have stuff to watch. I’m trying to tear through the Storm of Swords book before the new GoT season starts too.
As for the funky look to B&C…I think it’s because they didn’t quite finish the CGI so they had to make due. I was told that all the lens flares were to cover up unfinished effects so I imagine they had to cut corners elsewhere too. I hope it’s cleaned up prior to the TV / DVD release.
