Man of Steel Gets a Shiny Full Length Trailer…and It’s a Doozy
Back in August I think it was, Warner Brothers released two versions of the same teaser trailer for Zach Snyder’s Man of Steel. One was voiced by Kevin Costner, who plays Jonathan Kent, and the other was voiced by Russell Crowe, who plays Jor ‘El. They were very short (hence being a teaser) and didn’t show much at all. Today, however, we get a full length trailer that shows what we can expect from the upcoming reboot of the Superman franchise.
Even at two and half minutes, the trailer doesn’t give too much away…which is a very good thing. My biggest complaint with trailers these days is that once you watch them, there really is no need to see the movie. Instead, this one plays it close to the chest showing Clark as a young boy first, then showing him grown up and finally as Superman. We also get a quick look at Michael Shannon as Zod, as well as Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
This is a very efficient and effective trailer and does exactly what it should: whet the appetite without spoiling the meal. Well done indeed.
Based on a story by David S. Goyer and Christopher Nolan, Man of Steel is directed by Snyder and will be released on June 14, 2013. Quite a ways away, but it’ll be here before we know it.
Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, Lawrence Fishburn, Christopher Meloni, Tahmoh Penikett, and Richard Schiff.

I loved this trailer! I cannot wait to see this movie. I really like the way Henry Cavill looks as both Clark and Superman! Michael Shannon looks great as Zod and how can you go wrong with both Kostner and Crowe as your Father(s)? Like I said…I CANNOT WAIT!
i had very little interest in this film until I watched this trailer. Now its near the top of my list.
This is the only trailer I want to see. I’ll go on a self-imposed black out until it comes out. Same with Star Trek. The closer we get to release date to more saturated it’ll get to. This trailer definite piqued my interest.
