I love watching quality films and television.  Ok, I won’t lie….sometimes I love watching bad quality film and television.  When someone asks me what my favorite film is, I say Breakfast at Tiffany’s followed by either Jaws or Aliens.  I sometimes experience and genuine craving, no…a need for science fiction.  My favorite show of all time is Battlestar Galactica.  The 2003 version, not the original.  If I ever won the lotto I would buy that 6′ tall Cylon Centurion AND the 6′ T-800 from Terminator 2.  I would have a trophy room but with movie props replacing all of the hunted game that normally fills those types of rooms.

I have the double X chromosome, love watching hot guys blow stuff up, and prefer science fiction films over any other genre.  I hate that there isn’t really any sci-fi on television right now.  I use the term “frak” on a regular basis and have a Cylon action figure posing as a piece of art on my entertainment center.  I hate when foreign films are dubbed in English and bad CGI bugs the crap out of me.

In a nutshell, I love film and television and I don’t think either one needs to be dumbed down to accommodate the masses.  And above all….Han shot first.
