Trailers

Sometimes the trailers are the best part of films. Other times the trailer doesn’t do it justice. Either way, I like to keep up with them. You’ll find all of the Trailer Wraps as well as individual trailer posts in this section. Sometimes I even like to throw in classic trailers so keep your eyes peeled.

Daniel Craig Returns as James Bond in the New Skyfall Trailer

Skyfall Banner

With the release of this, the first trailer for the new 007 film Skyfall, all I can say is thank God that the whole MGM bankruptcy debacle got worked out and that this film is actually getting made.  I loved Casino Royale and how the new Bond took a more gritty turn with the arrival [...]

July 20th is getting closer and closer, which means that the third and final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman saga will come to a close.  The third trailer was just released and after watching it three times, I’m still not quite sure how I feel about it.  I’m probably one of the few who prefers [...]

21 Jump Street Extended Red Band Trailer

March 7th, 2012 by Tracy
21 Jump Street Banner

I really don’t want to like this movie.  I know that sounds wrong coming from someone who has a film/TV blog but seriously.  I remember watching 21 Jump Street when it aired originally on Fox.  I’ve even gone back and introduced it to the kid.  Watching it now is pretty painful, but still, it holds [...]

Prometheus Banner

There has been so much speculation about Ridley Scott’s latest science fiction film, Prometheus.  Will it be a prequel to his classic Alien or not.  Will it involve the space jockey or not.  Apparently final word is that it is not so much a prequel, but will be relatable to the universe Scott created with [...]

First Trailer For The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

December 20th, 2011 by Tracy
The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey Banner

Is it wrong to get excited about a trailer for a film that isn’t even set to be released for another year?  I hope not, because I am.  Peter Jackson has done a stellar job at keeping the masses up to date with the progress of the film and letting us see just what goes [...]

The Dark Knight Rises First Theatrical Trailer

December 19th, 2011 by Tracy
The Dark Knight Rises Banner

Finally!  We finally get to see a peek at one of the most anticipated films of 2012.  There was a teaser released back in July that didn’t show much aside from Commissioner Gordon talking to someone while laying in a hospital bed.  There haven’t even really been any details on the synopsis.

Break Out the Ripped Jeans and Aquanet. The Rock of Ages Trailer Has Arrived.

December 13th, 2011 by Tracy
Rock of Ages Banner

Some musicals work (Hairspray, Glee) and some don’t (Cop Rock).  Some decades work, and some don’t.  Combing a musical with a decade that shouldn’t have worked and you could have something that’s either Wylie Coyote level genius, or just plain horrific.  Rock of Ages could go either way, but I’m not holding my breath for [...]
