I’ve been working under the assumption that there were 12 episodes this season, but I was wrong.  It seems the writers have decided to give us a cool baker’s dozen so that leaves two episodes to go before the second season is in the can.  Since it’s getting toward the end, things are starting to move.  We had a few episodes that were not the strongest, but from the looks of last week and this most recent episode, they plan to end the season strong.

I’ve said before that this show is at its best when Sally, Aidan and Josh share scenes together.  Throw in an awkward dinner party to top things off and it becomes train-wreck television.  It hurts to watch, but you can’t look away.  Last season there was the dinner party with Josh’s family that Aidan crashed.  That whole segment was probably one of the best of the season.  This week, Josh decides to have Julia over for dinner and tells Aidan to be there and to bring a date.  That date being Suren.
