This season is just getting more and more messy with each passing episode.  All four characters are dealing with some pretty dark issues, but that is the nature of the beast so to speak.  Thankfully this episode was free of the vampire politics theme, which gave an opportunity to see into Aidan’s character a little more.   He’s still in a bit of a pickle however and this episode starts him on a dangerous, dark path.  SyFy has been plugging the “temptation is a beast” tagline since before the season premiered and this episode, once again, shows the characters embracing/resisting said temptation.
