Twist endings can be a bit of a double-edged sword.  Either they will elicit gasps from the viewer with exclamations of surprise, or they will elicit the bored eye-roll because the viewer saw it coming from a mile away.  I like to think that I’m normally pretty good at spotting these twists but sometimes…..sometimes I’m shocked into silence.  Case in point: The Sixth Sense.  I didn’t see that coming at all.  However, in regards to the film The Village….I figured out that twist about 20 minutes in.  What I really find odd is that both of those films came from the same person.  Anyway, back to my point…..I will give props to this latest episode because I was honestly surprised at what transpired.

This week we finally get to see the beginnings of Aidan’s relationship with Henry and what led to Henry becoming a vampire.  Josh encounters and old friend and things with Sally aren’t quite what they seem to be.  This revelation will have serious repercussions on the trio as we know them to be.  With only three episodes left (most likely) this latest episode is setting the story up for what will surely be a doozy of a cliffhanger.
