You know that feeling you get when you’re a kid and you go to Disneyland for the first time? For adults I’d equate it to maybe going to Las Vegas for the first time.  You arrive at your destination with vague expectations, but once you see it with your own eyes you become a bit overwhelmed and you’re left somewhat speechless.  Well that just happened to me on Saturday when I attended my very first WonderCon.

Comics Aren’t So Different From Soap Operas

I’m not a reader of comic books.  I followed The Punisher for a while about 20 years ago but aside from that, I’ve never bought nor really read them.  I have a couple of friends that do however so when I need information I go to them.   My buddy Rob gets an earful from me whenever we go see a film adaption of a comic book because I always want to know if the film followed the comic.  I know I know, just read the comic right?  Well where does a girl start?

Holding Court on the New Wonder Woman Series

Wonder Woman was my favorite show growing up.  I loved it to death and would watch faithfully each week as Diana Prince would foil some villains plan to unleash evil amongst the people of the earth.   This show was the highlight of my week during those young impressionable years.  I was heartbroken when the series ended.  I didn’t think I’d ever be able to see it again.
