Back in 2009 when Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes was released my first thought was: why?  The character has been done so many times and it’s always the same.  His version promised something different and it more than delivered.  Robert Downey Jr.’s Sherlock was fresh and exciting.  The film ended up being a hit and it also was one of the few that I actually bought.  On Blu-Ray even.  Of course there was going to be a sequel.  To which I again questioned: why?

Oh my goodness!  There have been a slew of trailers that came out this week.  It also seems to be a Jude Law kind of week since he’s in three out of the five trailers featured!  Might as well have a seat, kick your feet up and grab a cup of coffee because I’ve got the best of them all right here.  Let’s get on with it shall we?
