If I’m being completely honest, I’m a bit of a germaphobe. I get really anxious when I need to wash my hands, I try my best not to touch my face and I always think twice about touching anything…especially shopping cart handles. Sitting through a movie like Contagion could very well send me into a sterilizing frenzy and if dramatic enough, may induce a minor panic attack. I’m not really that neurotic, but it gives you an idea.
Oh my goodness! There have been a slew of trailers that came out this week. It also seems to be a Jude Law kind of week since he’s in three out of the five trailers featured! Might as well have a seat, kick your feet up and grab a cup of coffee because I’ve got the best of them all right here. Let’s get on with it shall we?
It’s been a busy week here at Reel Goddess HQ! But alas, now it’s Friday and the weekend is almost upon us. There’s some good stuff in the theaters right now and I’m planning on hitting up Hanna and Source Code this weekend so look for those reviews next week. Meanwhile, on to the Goodie Wrap.
After seeing the first trailer for The Adjustment Bureau my first thought was that it was in the same vein as Inception. The trailer might have made it look that way, but this is indeed, a very different movie. That’s not a bad thing. Originally written as a short story in 1954 called The Adjustment Team, this Phillip K. Dick adaption is the first film directed by George Nolfi and stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.
