I know it’s old news (and by old I mean yesterday’s news), but Netflix has broken the news to the public that it is restructuring its service plans and in turn, raising its prices. A lot of people are really really angry about this but does it come as a surprise?

Happy Friday everyone. I’m doing my best to not bust out in that Friday song. So to prevent such a travesty, let’s just get right down to business. Proceed for your weekly Goodie Wrap.
It’s been a busy week here at Reel Goddess HQ! But alas, now it’s Friday and the weekend is almost upon us. There’s some good stuff in the theaters right now and I’m planning on hitting up Hanna and Source Code this weekend so look for those reviews next week. Meanwhile, on to the Goodie Wrap.
I think I mentioned this in my review of Paul, but I’ll say it again. I really hate when comedies show you all the funny bits in the trailer. It happens all the time. I grew up in the 80′s watching teen comedies like Porky’s, Better Off Dead, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and Weird Science, which happens to be one of my favorites. Raunchy humor and tasteless jokes set a good foundation for the teen comedy. At least back then they did. Even as an adult I still appreciate this sub-genre and wish there were more good ones out there. American Pie got it right where so many others have failed. It’s a shame, because sometimes we all need a hearty laugh.
