Is it wrong to get excited about a trailer for a film that isn’t even set to be released for another year?  I hope not, because I am.  Peter Jackson has done a stellar job at keeping the masses up to date with the progress of the film and letting us see just what goes on behind the curtain.   Now, as an early Christmas present, he’s given us the gift of the first trailer.

Wow….so all these pictures of the dwarves from The Hobbit are becoming almost a daily occurrence.  I’m not complaining at all.  I love the little tidbits we’re getting.  Thanks to Time, we get another new picture today.  This one is of Ken Scott as Balin and Graham McTavish as Dwalin.   Check it out below along with a description of the characters.

For the third day in a row, we get more dwarves!  This is just getting crazy I tell you!  Just think if they do the same thing for the Hobbits and the Elves and whoever else pops up in this film.  It’s the ole trickle-marketing scheme.  Little tiny bits of goodies here and there.

Holy Hobbit!  Talk about ask and you shall receive!  Just yesterday I mentioned that I wanted to see a photo of Aidan Turner as Kili.  Well lo and behold!  MSN has posted a photo of him as well as Dean O’Gorman as Fili.  These two look awesome in their costumes and Aidan Turner looks rather dashing with the long hair.
