I know that the truth is out there and that bowties are cool. Frak is an incredibly useful word the best way to sing the praise of something is to give it a hearty “So say we all.” All of this I learned from television. I watch so many shows, I’m almost embarrassed to admit it. Almost. Since I’m not fully embarrassed, I’ll write about it and post it in this section. News, and articles as well as recaps and reviews are all here. So pick your poison and follow along.

Once Upon a Time Recap: Episode 2.22 – And Straight on Till Morning

Once Upon a Time Episode 2.22 - Colin O'Donoghue banner

To say that this season has been uneven would be an understatement.  I haven’t been quite as invested as I was last season because I felt that this season was all over the map.  The Gold/Belle storyline, while once charming and interesting, turned out to be tiring.  Emma has seemed to lose her once independent, [...]

Game of Thrones Recap: Episode 3.07 – The Bear and the Maiden Fair

Game of Thrones Episode 3.07 - Kit Harrington

This latest episode was probably the quickest hour of television I’ve watched in a long, long time.  Written by George R.R. Martin himself, this week gave us plenty to think about until the next episode.  This week also was all over the map location wise.  Normally we’re treated to longer segments in a few locations, [...]

Once Upon a Time Recap: Episode 2.21 – Second Star to the Right

Once Upon a Time - Episode 2.21 - Colin O'Donoghue_Lana Parilla

Based on the title, it was my thought that they were going to somehow spin a yarn that made Neal the Peter Pan of the Once Upon a Time storyline.  Turns out now that they isn’t so much the case, which was a bit of a surprise.  We do however, get Neal’s story of what [...]

Game of Thrones Recap: Episode 3.06 – The Climb

Game of Thrones Episode 3.06 - Aidan Gillan_Conleth Hill

It’s pretty impressive when a show can wrap you in its embrace and hold you hostage for an hour even when it’s not quite on par with the previous two episodes.  That’s exactly what “The Climb” did.  Sporting a title of multiple meanings, this week may not have had the sex or violence of episodes [...]

Once Upon a Time Recap: Episode 2.20 – The Evil Queen

Once Upon a Time Episode 2.20 - Ethan Embry_Colin O'Donoghue

With Cora gone, it’s up to Regina to return to her status as the Big Bad of the show.  This week focuses on Regina’s past once again and the Evil Queen’s quest to find and kill Snow White.  Yes we know.  The Evil Queen hates Snow White.  Tell us something we don’t already know.  This [...]

Game of Thrones Recap: Episode 3.05 – Kissed By Fire

Game of Thrones Episode 3.05 - Dondarrion's sword

Kissed by fire is a terms used to describe those who sport red hair.  In this latest episode, it not only serves as the title, or an alternate term for gingers.  There’s more to being “kissed by fire” than that, just ask Sandor Clegane.  This season, which we are already half way through, has been [...]

Once Upon a Time Recap: Episode 2.19 – Lacey

Once Upon a Time Episode 2.19 - Emilie De Ravine

It’s been several weeks since we saw Once Upon a Time and now they’re back for the final four episodes of the season.  The “previously on” section took us through the bit with Neal introducing Emma to his fiance, the connection between Tamara and Greg, what happened to August, which I’m still sore about by [...]

Game of Thrones Recap: Episode 3.04 – And His Watch Is Ended

April 21st, 2013 by Tracy
Game of Thrones Episode 3.04 - Emilia Clarke Banner

The first three episodes of this season have served to lay the groundwork for what’s to come.  We’ve caught up with the major players, where they’re at in the grand scheme of events happening in and out of Westeros and now that the groundwork has been established, it’s time to get down to the nitty-gritty.  After [...]

Final Thoughts on Lost Girl Season 3

Lost Girl - Cast

After getting hooked on Lost Girl when it started airing on SyFy, I’ve been a faithful follower and advocate of this Canadian import that skirted and crossed a line that most American shows don’t cross.  Back when the first season premiered on SyFy, I was pleasantly surprised that the network seemingly went against the grain [...]

Game of Thrones Recap: Episode 3.03 – Walk of Punishment

Game of Thrones Season 3 Episode 3 - Richard Madden

The “previously on” portion covered a lot of ground this week, which meant an episode packed to the gills.  This show never ceases to amaze me in that respect.  Most of the time it is efficient storytelling of the highest caliber.  Sure, some episodes have been known to lack in certain areas, but those are [...]
